Deirdre Willgohs, B.S.

Deirdre Willgohs graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in biomedical engineering and started her career in law as a patent examiner for the US Patent and Trademark Office, later becoming a patent agent at a Big Law firm. During her time at Northwestern, she was a math and physics tutor for her fellow students and discovered her passion for teaching.

To be the best tutor possible, she has taken several courses in pedagogy and has developed an effective and engaging approach to tutoring. Deirdre believes the LSAT is a learnable test, and with the right approach and strategies, it can even be fun! She has experience working with students of all levels, whether they want to work on their fundamentals at the beginning of their LSAT journey or refine their strategy to get those last few points to a 180.

Deirdre has worked with more than 150 students, helping them achieve the scores necessary to be admitted to their dream law schools and launch their careers. Deirdre is highly experienced working with students with differing learning styles and needs such as ADHD, anxiety, and visual impairments.

When she isn’t teaching the LSAT, Deirdre enjoys fostering kittens and playing badminton.

Dr. Lindsey Castellano, EdD

Dr. Lindsey Castellano holds a doctorate of education from Columbia University’s Teachers College. She is a seasoned educator with over two decades of experience guiding students toward their academic and career aspirations. She brings a deep understanding of what admissions committees are looking for.

Drawing on her background in education, college admissions and advising, Dr. Castellano helps students uncover and articulate their unique stories with clarity, authenticity, and impact. She provides strategic feedback on structure, tone, and content to ensure each personal statement not only meets high writing standards but also reflects the student’s genuine voice.

In addition to her editing expertise, Dr. Castellano offers personalized coaching that strengthens students’ studying skills, boosts their confidence, and prepares them for success. Her student-centered approach emphasizes empowerment, guiding each learner to present the best version of themselves—both in writing and in the classroom.

She has extensive experience supporting students with a wide range of learning styles and needs, including those with ADHD, helping them develop essential executive functioning skills such as organization, time management, and self-monitoring. Her individualized strategies empower students to work more effectively, manage complex tasks, and achieve their goals.
