“Deirdre Willgohs is a great tutor, and she helped me get a 178 on my first and only LSAT. I started out with practice tests in the high 160s and low 170s, and was initially skeptical that tutoring could help me gain any extra points at that level. But Deirdre put together a study plan that helped me focus on the kinds of questions I was getting wrong, and she also coached me on some basic test-taking strategies that improved my speed and performance on the timed tests. I’m super happy with my results.”

“Deirdre was great! She was very knowledgeable and helped me create a good studying strategy. My initial diagnostic score was a 152 and my final LSAT score was a 176! I definitely couldn't have done it without Deirdre. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to do great on the LSAT.”

“I was stuck in the high 160s until I found Deirdre. We met for a few hours a week working on hard questions and passages and testing strategy and my practice test scores shot up to the mid 170s. She was so patient and supportive and made me feel so much less scared of the LSAT. I could not have gotten my final score of 179 without her help! Best tutor ever!”

“Deirdre is not only a very friendly person who makes the LSAT approachable, but is also extremely knowledgeable about all parts of the test. She was able to quickly identify what I was doing wrong in my approach to the test and gave me the tools I needed to succeed. When I was considering whether or not to sign up for tutoring, I was concerned that RC was not as teachable as LR and so it wouldn’t be as valuable for me since I needed the most help with RC. Deirdre’s approach, however, not only demonstrated how learnable RC really is but showed the value of a good tutor who is willing to patiently explain all the parts of a passage and how you should approach a passage.

I would highly recommend Deirdre as a tutor to any of my colleagues thinking about studying for the LSAT. Her easy to understand explanations are well suited for anyone new to the test or someone who has already been studying for a while. Though my LSAT journey is not quite over yet, I am confident that I would not be where I am with this test without Deirdre’s help.”

“Deirdre, to put it simply, is an amazing tutor. When one evaluates a tutor, one looks for exceptional quality, good personality, and understanding of the material. I must say, Deirdre meets and exceeds these evaluations. As someone who started in the mid-140s and is now in the 160s, I must say that without Deirdre, I probably would not be as apt as I am now. Deirdre fostered an environment that was not "you need to stress about this test," but instead created a method so you WANT to study. As odd as this sounds, it worked. I found myself enjoying my studies because it wasn't about how much pressure you need to feel; it was about feeling good with your ability and being confident that you can do it. That's a quality in a tutor seldom found.

Along with her firm grasp on the material, Deirdre was able to simplify complex problems and explain them thoroughly enough that someone new could understand 5-star level concepts.”

“I started my LSAT journey in early 2022 and, through a lot of trial and error, initially studied on my own before trying out Blueprint Prep. Despite my efforts, my scores stayed around the same—144, 138, 140, and back to 144. I had the privilege of working with Deirdre, and she became the single biggest difference-maker in my journey. She informed me about the LSAC’s rule limiting you to five tests in five years—something I hadn’t known—and helped me adjust my timeline accordingly. She also encouraged me to apply for testing accommodations for my ADHD, which I received. Her advice always seemed to come at exactly the right time, and every recommendation she made paid off. Thanks to Deirdre’s guidance and steady support, I scored a 164 on my final practice test—more than 20 points higher than where I started. I ultimately scored a 156 on my official LSAT, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m confidently applying to my dream schools this cycle, and I owe so much of that confidence to her.”

“Deirdre Willgohs was an excellent tutor. I had her for four sessions leading up to my second LSAT attempt. I was a high PT scorer and had scored 16high on my first attempt, but needed help refining my testing strategies to transfer these skills onto the actual exam. Deirdre was quick to understand my needs, and was able to rapidly build out a plan to help me execute come test day. With her structure, insights, and tips and tricks, I was able to make the jump into 17high scoring on the LSAT. Again, this was after only FOUR sessions under her guidance. If you are looking for an empathetic, intelligent, highly capable tutor to help you reach your goals, I could not recommend Deirdre more highly.”

“I absolutely love Deirdre!! I wish I had found her at the beginning of my LSAT journey. She is brilliant and I appreciate how she explains things and helps me walk through the thought processes of why my answer choices were right or wrong, which has been an immeasurable amount of help. However, it's the WAY she explains things and really helps you see things in the same light as the LSAT writers that is extraordinary. Also, it makes a huge difference that she is so patient and sweet so I never feel pressure or embarrassment when I need a little further explaining. I really get the feeling that she wants to see us all succeed and that is exactly what an outstanding tutor/ mentor/ teacher should be. She is simply amazing!!!”
